ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Oh dear. It seems GOT is really really upsetting our loveable, whiter than white, delicate and sensitive neighbours. Now I've seen them calling for this site to be reported and taken off the internet!

It takes a special kind of prick to sign up to a site just to view a thread you know your own club is going to be slagged off yet get all offended when that happens. They spend day after day on here screenshotting posts off this thread and crying about them. Shower of absolute cranks.
Hahahaha. Waves to rawk :bye:

Genuinely tragic tale of a liverpool fan who died of covid19 two weeks after he attended the athletico Madrid game on bbc breakfast now.
Family blaming the government and calling for an independent enquiry- don't want to appear callous but everybody knew what was happening in Spain that night, and to me staying at home would of been the only sensible option.

Noone stayed at home because the club decided that having the anfield crowd was more important than possibly seeing a threat to people's health.

It will be the same once they finally get handed the title. People will gather outside the stadium to celebrate it and the club will bring more shame to the city.

The government are bending over backwards to give them their asterisk tinpot - now they're attacking them for not telling them to use their own common sense. #thismeansmore YMCA

Surprise Emilia Bona wasnt fighting the virus off in Madrid

The fact he had no individual awards is possibly testament to the fact he never played the media game, never had an agent and shunned the limelight.

Ask any of the people who did win those awards in that period, anywhere in Europe how good Paul Scholes was and they'll tell you.
I remember Lothar Mathaus being asked if he was happy that Roy Keane was suspended for the 1999 CL final. He said No. But was happy Paul Scholes was

It is a terrible story. The poor guy and his family. And this is why sporting events are not really essential. Saving lives is far more important than a fame of football.

i hope the whole ymca thing sticks. only gonna get under their skin more and more as time passes. surprised they haven't called it hate speech yet

they’ll probably try and trademark 4 letter acronyms yet. There’s nothing they can’t try and make all about themselves then try and monetise. This is a club that literally tried to reserve the name ‘Liverpool’ for itself.

Surprised they've not started a petition to get the game replayed.

This tragic story being used to try and apportion blame sadly missing the point.

Did the issue of restarting the league come up I wonder? Righteous indignation on the one hand from RS customers (not this family, but in general) that a game was allowed to go ahead that could have led to CL progress but didn't, yet on the other hand RS screaming for return of league games as they have a chance to 'win'.

One death associated to the restart is just as tragic and avoidable as this poor individual, but that doesn't seem to matter.

Typical RS response. Blame someone else. Not the helmet himself who made the decision to go.
