I think the BBC/You Tube/whoever will be able to screen the non Sky/BT ones. Ones that wouldnt have been live anyrate, if that makes sense.

It does make sense but if other games were suddenly on free to air channels, Sky will lose many subscribers and a lot of income because of it.
Another knock on effect would be because they now have less subscribers, the advertisers would then not pay as much for adverts.
Lose lose for Sky.

To broker a deal for the government to push ahead and back the restart.

It will only be for the completion of this season. It will be their coverage and free advertising on a national level of that coverage.

We live in strange times but don't be surprised if these games are shown on terrestrial tv.

I'll be honest mate, I can't see Sky going for that at all. They can get lots of sign ups for people desperate for sport, they are not going to give their product away for free

This has just occurred to me. They are planning of using 4 or 5 grounds.

How will they play all 10 games at the same time on the last day of the season?

Absolute morons. I hadn't even thought of this. Like an obvious advantage to those who go 2nd.

It’s definitely getting cancelled imo, I think the clubs and players will make sure of that but I’m really coming around to some of these ridiculous ideas. The more the ridiculous the better as far as I’m concerned.

Get them playing in masks, social distancing, 15 mins each way in a mini little tournament with unlimited subs on the other side of the world, all on the same day. The more farcical the better and if our club allow themselves to be part of that then it’s there own stupid fault.

I heard our very own The Esk on a podcast the other night, essentially saying the PL were playing a game with their statements, making it appear they wanted to continue for legal reasons. That just about summed it up to me.

We are a laughing stock of a club.

I think we have probably thought in this scenario that there would be a backlash if we were to vote against it, so let others who have a far bigger truck in the matter to scupper it.

Even if they do get that far with a majority of clubs going for it, still no guarantees it will get to kicking a football and time is ticking on.
