Project restart discussion.

I assume its to make everything quicker to complete.

Well unless we are playing games back to back at the same stadium I really struggle to see that.

I mean I'll be blunt, I think Taylor doesn't know what he's talking about and is making an idiot of himself and the process, however it is doing untold damage to "project restart". I mean, in a court of law a side can likely argue any game that was not 90 minutes has no validity and therefore they can default claim 3 points.

Oh he is talking tripe mate. Its just thats the only reason that made any/some sense. In the lightest definition of "sense"

Nah....the clubs and players will make sure it doesn't if the Government doesn't do so first.

We have the likes of Palace's chairman calling for the season to be restarted.

The Government will push for it to be restarted and will bend backwards so they can have the premier league screened across the world.

They will spin it as a success and have it broadcasted on ITV or BBC.

We could end up with something like this with Project restarts totally not embarrassing suggestions.

I don't recall Gordon Taylor ever speaking sense in the 25 years or so I've been aware of him.

What happens to the exclusivity deal for Sky though?

Well cash was king but that was before Covid 19. No amount of money can save anyone from a global pandemic. Now the virus decides what happens and we should be careful not to anger it.

Plenty of buildings sites with a good few hundred people on have carried on as normal.

It's wrong, they will claim people are working with social distancing but they are lying.

By 10 minutes per half? (otherwise why bother playing at all?)
He gets paid £2m a year to come up with suggestions like that...

So we are going to shorten the game, allow 5 substitutes, do away with VAR,
play at neutral venues and if you are to believe some reports do away with tackling.
So lets, completely change the rules, totally alter the format of the game, take away home advantage and that's
'preserving the integrity of the league'?
I really do think it's time to give it up.
