And no business will put at risk their most valuable asset. And they will be offered a few more free games next season in compo.

But Sky cant pay money this season on the promise of money next season.

They will have taken a MASSIVE hit with the whole country cancelling Sky Sports.

People were doing that prior to the virus though, Sky Sports have to stop their obsession with the top 6 at some point otherwise they really will struggle. There are 20 teams in this league, maybe even 22 after all this is over but if you watched Sky Sports you would actually think it was 6, i mean the panic from them that Man U and Spurs were struggling this year at times and the likes of Wolves and Sheff U were pushing up the table, they can't handle it, much in the same way many viewers can't handle their 'panel' of grade A bellwhiffs on a Saturday lunchtime.

The top 6 have more fans than the other 14 clubs in the league tho.

I mean would anybody care if they talked about Burnley?

Does'nt matter though, if they want to make it all about them then they can go off and have a 6 team league on their own somewhere. Thing is, there are always going to be teams with more supporters than others but Sky Sports take it to extremes though.

If they are worried about repaying TV money, dont repay it. What are Sky going to do? Sue their main reason for existence?

Void, start next season, lob a few more games at Sky/BT, and jobs a goodun.

Exactly.

Neither Sky nor the EPL are going to sue each other over this.

They are two parasites leeching off each other and neither could survive in its present state without the other.

The financial part is the easiest to sort....either the current contract is lengthened by the period there is no football.

Or the current deal runs its course but with Sky able to screen more games at no additional cost.

I know most dont like it, to me it just seems like a sensible business decision.

I think it stems from the fact that we as Everton fans think we are bigger than we are.

Big difference between giving more air time to the big clubs and blatant favouritism towards them.

The way they report on these clubs is the problem, not the fact they spend the bulk of their time on them.
