Osman was MOTM day, without a doubt.

Summerskin

Player Valuation: £35m
Had one of his bi-annual belters today.

Sod it, i'd rather have an inconsistent player than no player at all.

He usually goes on a 3-4 match run of sheer excellent, stand up sir!!

nailed on.

thought rodwell was superb as well, especially as it was his first game back.

definately more options going forward when we play two up top at home.

Arteta, Rodders and Osman were all excellent today.

The two up top worked, just shows the difference when we take a chance at home!

I'm not getting carried away, because in all fairness, they were dog eggs. However, it was great to see an Everton side play with confidence. If that shot from Billy had gone in at the death it would have been a definate goal of the season shout

The server was slow so I went over to toffeeweb as even they couldn't get me down today. The columnist called Ossie the MOM which I'm not sure about but he was damn good today. The comments section though whoa, more vile that usual. They all ****ged Ossie off. One even critized him and basically said "a real footballer would have had 4 goals if he had to chances Ossie did today". Jose Christ.

Rodwell played well going forward. A couple Oh crap passes in the back though. He still has to cut that part out of his game.

I was at the game and I just didn't see it. He tried hard, and played some neat stuff, but he lost the ball often and had about 4-5 poor shots. He did well at the end but really should have finished.

Beckford, Fellaini (before injury), Arteta and Distin were our best players today (imo).

I love watching Distin when we are playing with a lead. If we only had a lead more.

ossie was MOTM by a mile ( though some will never be happy with him).............he got stuck in he tracked back all that was missin was a goal from him but he did get himself into those positions

areteta gradually coming back to old , distin and jags were solid

an all round good pro performance

tbh i disagree, and i'm not a hater either, he seemed to hinder baines at times and was too slow and didn't offer enough, there were moments of class though and some quick feet, but he was pretty wasteful, unlucky at the end though, what a goal that would have been!

I completely agree, ball stuck to him like glue. Deserved that goal at the end to cap an all around quality display.
