I think we are a bit tough on Osman. He has premiership quality; however, he is way to inconsistent.

Arteta was again so below par that par actually means gash, really worrying.

Pity Rodwell isn't around so we can't drop his ass.

Osman is a bit part player at best. I consider him as a 'nearly man' where every now and then, he may do something good but the end product is more often than not below Premier League standard. Howard is definitely our MOM because with out him, Chelsea would of won in regular time. Baines, Distin and Fellaini are all worthy of a mention. Hopefully, this result can spur us on to a strong finish to the season and a trophy in the cabinet to boot!

I think the only reason Osman started is because he tracks back more than the other options which Moyes felt was important today, in my opinion. He also was on the left and being naturally Right-Footed was inclined to cut inside leaving Baines with the entire wing to cross and dribble which he does fantastically well. Bily does this but is also capable of going down the wing which gives us another dimension but means Baines stays a bit deeper and is marked sometimes. Today Moyes thought it'd be better to give Baines more space and a more hard-working teammate.

With saying that, Bily has been good lately and has put in a shift when needed. Hasn't he started the last 4 games or something the commentator said? Surely his longest run and he needs more like it. I thought we'd miss Pienaar a lot more in all honesty.
