Right on cue , comical Ali to be rolled out on radio 5 this morning presumably to say that that thing he said the other day was right but that the club were spot on to do completely the opposite of that right thing .

I’m not going to judge Bournemouth and the other clubs though . Like the ticket prices they’ve listened to the fans . Credit has to be given to Liverpool over this “

Truly vomit inducing segment. I had no idea he had originally supported their decision, so to hear his total praise for them reversing it was laughable.
We called this scenario as soon as they went public with them going down that road.
As ever, they delivered.

it’s amazing , the lack of self awareness is genuinely staggering . I don’t like Carragher but he’s criticised the original decision so fair enough for him to back the reversal . Barnes has basically argued black is white then done a 180 24 hrs later when they’ve sent him out . Actually shameless

According to the world of John Barnes, it's only racist if it's other clubs and their fans are doing it, but never lfc.
 

So, when the scrounging was first announced, BBC had it as their top story for about half an hour before it gradually went further and further down the page.
I just had a look and the backflip is still top story half a day later.
