I'd be absolutely amazed if they found a way to finish the season, How long are the players suppose to keep fit for? It'll be June/July soon and they'll want a break. Playing Football in your back garden can only do so much, The FA are probably just waiting for the other leagues to void the season so they can just be the sheep.

To be honest looking at the situation as positively as I can I think even by August and the scheduled start of 2020-21 there will still be quite severe restrictions in place, this isn't going away quickly.
This behind closed doors that my red mates keep banging on about, does anyone know how i s going to work.? Is they seem sure it's going to happen.

I think it is just wishful thinking on their part, even without my "bitter blue"hat on,I cannot see present season being sustainable in this current situation,it is scary, truly scary and we have a lot more angst and despair to go through yet, sport will be on the back burner for a long time I think.

Can't see it happening, if we are not sufficiently recovered in general to have crowds restored, the smaller but still significant policing and ambulance requirements aren't going to be permitted. Back in full or not at all

the desire from many, including impartial watchers of footy, will have their desire for talking football blunted as we will be faced with scenes of sports halls full of coffins, harrowing scenes of desperately ill people on hospital beds/corridors, and after weeks and weeks of isolation, we will want to put the past behind us. Football rightly won't be far up on many people's list of things to worry about. Sadly, many of us on here are going to lose family and friends to this virus before this year is out, indeed, we will lose some of our friends and contributors to the site. Football doesn't matter.

Unless footballers suddenly fall into the key worker category then they won't be training for at least 3 months.
Cloud cuckoo land the lot of them if they think behind closed doors is happening anytime soon.
