Boris Johnson saying they’ll be reviewing the pubs, cafes, restaurants, gyms etc closure order monthly....it’s going to be going on that long they’re not even going to bother weekly reviews.

Anyone who thinks this seasons get finished are deluded. The season will be voided very soon when it becomes crystal clear even the end of June is a pipe dream. All focus will go on trying to get something in place so next season can be played.

Totally disagree. The asterisk thing would disappear. I remember the 1973 Wimbledon Tennis Championship which excluded the best players in the world and everyone saying it would have an asterisk beside it. Very few notice that now.

But people with a brain actually like football.

I’ve said it all along, it’s not safe to do so.

If you get players risking their safety, and agreeing to it, you’re going to get fans involved.

If Liverpool play behind closed doors on the day they lift the title, you’re telling me they’re not gonna line the streets in celebration? Maybe even sneak in? If it was us, I’d be doing exactly the same.

But with the pandemic getting worse, more and more people are starting realise how serious it is (well, unless you’re a Kopite). This is real, spreading and it’s not safe to finish it.

Finish the season, and when do you start 20/21? 21/22? Could be 10/15 years before the alignment gets back to normal.
