Everton line up £200m naming rights deal for club's proposed new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock with Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov
Everton have lined up a £200million naming rights deal for the club’s proposed new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock with Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov.
- Sources close to the club have said a naming rights deal was 'ready to go'
- It is understood the deal will be a long-term agreement 'over 10 years'
- This could see the stadium branded to include Alisher Usmanov's company
- Everton revealed in January that USM had paid the club £30m this year
Sources close to the club have told The Mail on Sunday that a naming rights deal was ‘ready to go’.
It is understood the deal will be a long-term agreement for ‘over 10 years’ and could see the stadium branded to include Usmanov’s holding company USM. Everton revealed in January that USM had paid the club £30m this year for the option of becoming the ground’s main sponsor.
USM has a naming rights deal with the club’s Finch Farm training ground, which was worth £12 million in the 2018/19 season.
That deal ends in 2022, the year before the stadium in Bramley-Moore Dock is due to be completed. The club are also set to carry out a fan survey over the next two months, in a bid to explore pricing strategies for all areas of the ground and hospitality packages.
The club aim to offer a wider range of ticket prices across the new stadium.
There will be some increases in prices for the most premium seats, while thousands of tickets will remain at current levels.
So 23m a season over 10 years not enough.
Should of been at least 50m. That at least covers the stadium minus the interest.
The issue is in 10 years moshiri sells, the new owner won't get the naming rights money, where does that leave us.No way, wouldn't agree with that at all mate.
You are living on a different planet if you think we would get in an arses roar of 50 mill a season.

I'm pretty sure he could of gotten around it, aswell as shirt sponsers, we need to be hitting at least 300-350m turnover when the stadium is in use to build a great team

Yes,and has been for a while. The stadium is already covered...
cant believe you can model ten years into the future. I’m sure we’ll be worse off having banked 200 million and the increased revenues from the stadium over that period. May as well not do it at all based on your scenario above.

I'm happy that you are so confident that we'll be making 300m+ a year in a few seasons time. The issue is in 10 years moshiri sells, the new owner won't get the naming rights money, where does that leave us.

That... has not gone wellSpelt is a grain; it's also a perfectly acceptable past particable of "spell".
I think you might want to look up how to use a comma though...
Awkwaaard.
This naming rights deal is bigger than Arsenals Emirates at present & Spurs cant find a sponser for £25 million a year.
WHU have also failed to find one.
Havrey sadly like most Liverpool fans know little when it comes to finance.
