This wont be banned - soon as players are fit next month they'll play behind closed doors too much controversy to cancel.

Just as much controversy to continue you could argueThis wont be banned - soon as players are fit next month they'll play behind closed doors too much controversy to cancel.

China still hasn't re-started and this is nearly 4 months later, will stringent procedures to stabilise the virus in place. I cannot see the overall number being substantially less than they are now in 3 weeks. The risk will be even greater in 3 weeks (I suspect as reporting goes up) so it is going to be much harder to start the competition again.
It's not impossible, but it would be very reckless to go back ahead with it. They have been reckless so far, so you can't rule anything out, but I'd be surprised if it went ahead.
You also have to factor is, the bottom 6 would be massively in favour of voiding the season to repeat it next year. Thats 6 teams before you get started who will drag their heels. I can't imagine Arsenal are going to want to go straight back to it. We here Spurs want to potentially void it. Leicester and Rodgers have already said as much. I imagine City would and hope we would too. As time goes by, I can really only see one team supporting the idea of awarding positions and titles in an incomplete season.
That just is not gong to happen. This wont be banned - soon as players are fit next month they'll play behind closed doors too much controversy to cancel.
Even the Government medical officers were saying the peak would be in May so has to build to that.

Liverpool fan group Spirit of Shankly has welcomed the decision to call off the Premier League for the next few weeks.
The Reds are top of the Premier League, on the brink of a first league title for 30 years.
"The most important consideration at this stage of the spread of Coronavirus is the health of players, officials, staff and supporters of all football clubs," the group said in a statement.
"In the weeks ahead it is likely difficult decisions will need to made about how this season's football competitions are to be concluded. As supporters – the most important stakeholder group in the game – we hope to be fully involved in any dialogue and decision making with the football authorities on these matters.
"We also recognise there will be serious financial impact on some football clubs from the lower leagues, and support an approach across football to prioritise helping them."
lol you'll get nothing and like it
Careful all that crying will spread it more mate.Nobody is choosing to cancel or delay this, as the case may be, for sporting reasons.
If the situation allows, the season would continue as normal. The Premier League and EFL have seen sense and decided this isn't the case, delaying everything for 3 weeks. If it isn't safe by that date, then it will be delayed until such a time as it can continue. If, come June / July the season still can't re-start safely because of the virus, then there's an exceptional chance it will be cancelled and voided.
It's insensitive and disingenuous to push for an immediate cancellation just because it suits your agenda or the agenda of other clubs, rather than for the safety and health concerns that is the ultimate reason for this.
