Tottenham forward Son Heung-min will be sidelined for a "number of weeks" after fracturing his arm during Sunday's 3-2 win at Aston Villa.

Don't wish broken arms on people, but that fella is a petulant little knob head and it's kind of funny how, as Gomey returns, he picks up an injury.

Playing devils advocate here and please don’t think I’m picking on you as I could have chosen any number of posts but what is the difference between Son’s attempted tackle / tactical foul to Gomes tactical foul on PEA apart from one resulting in a nasty injury and the other just a booking and a chance to waste time for Arsenal?

Did Aubameyang put a challenge in on Gomes moments before Gomes did his tactical foul? Because Son's act of petulance came directly after he had just been schooled by Gomes.

Because Son's challenge was neither tactical or an attempted tackle? It was a full on petulant revenge kick because he had been hit in the face by a trailing arm a few moments before. Son never intended for Gomes to be injured but the injury was a direct result of the actions of a petulant spoiled brat who has form for kicking out when things don't go his way.

Because Gomes is an Everton player and I’ll back him to the hilt because that’s the way humanity is

I can see Mourinho gone in the new year.

It's such a bad fit, Spurs have Levy as chairman who's meticulous about spending, Mourinho is a cheque book manager. they are going to clash in the summer and january windows with Mourinho moaning while the rest of the top 6 spend more money than him.

Plus the football is awful to watch, so dour, rigid and defensive which is alien to a club with traditions of attacking and stylish football.

Long may it stay so

Well, Gomes didn’t push PEA directly into a sliding player from behind breaking PEA’s leg for a start. Also Gomes’ foul had a very low chance to buckle PEA and wasn’t a revenge challenge for a earlier coming together

Yep, the spark has gone.

His highly effective “us against the world” mentality has a shelf life for the clubs he manages (roughly 2 to 3 seasons) as it eventually becomes draining for the players, but it also looks as though it has a shelf life for him. He looks knackered. All that fighting has worn him out. The contrast between his early press conferences and the ones now are night and day. He’s lost all conviction. Players don’t have belief in what he says anymore.

Real Madrid took a lot out of him. There was that appalling act where he screamed at the female Chelsea physio, before being turfed out of the club he thought he’d spend a long time at. United thought they were getting the original Jose, they got the tired, miserable version.

His football has generally always been rigid. His press conferences were far more entertaining than his teams, but now his press conferences match his teams, dull. His personality comes through as a pundit though as there’s no pressure there, I’d like to see him go back to that.
