I watched him stand off an Arsenal player in the box there 5 yards off him as he got a shot off...and he does his same old trick: turns his back when the shot does come.

He offers nothing going forward. Not now.

Yes. Baines hasn’t offered much going forward but has been ok defensively, Sidibe is all over the place defensively and has been for most of the season.

He's been perfectly fine first half. It's Sidibe being constantly caught out of position which is the concern.

Their second. Such simple defending done wrong. Sidibe should be 5 yards to the left to stop exactly that. Force Aubemayang to stay wide and let your midfielders drop on.

Like, so basic.

Baines, while not perfect tends to sit more central and stops it. Pace doesn’t really come into it that much.
