Man City Banned From Europe

No, but you could say our owner's owner has if you were looking at it in a real-world way. We have to trust they know what they are doing in terms of adhering to rules and legality but the second we were to raise our head above the parapit in competitive terms then you can be sure other clubs will be protesting and asking questions at league level. It won't be an issue whilst we're crap.

I'm a little uneasy about the whole USM thing for that reason only, I have no moral or ethical qualms at all. Being Everton, they would probably change the rules retrospectively.
I have posted this yesterday and quoted it a couple of times since
Billionaires do not become billionaires without bending and testing the rules and the law to the limit
Usmanov and moshiri know what they are doing
As someone else said City's owners became rich by being born and in A state where they made the rules and only obeyed what they wanted to obey
Moshiri and Usmanov made their money themselves by knowing the rules
As @MarcelsGoat is wont to say
The game is the game and the game stays the same
aS @roydo SAYS ,it is all in the dots.
The first dot was planted when Usmanov GAVE FOR FREE Moshiri 15% of Arsenal and then bought it back for cash
No one seen that dot or any of the other dots either

No offence to any of the lads who have a financial background and who post on profit and loss FFPand amortisation of player values etc , but how many of you seen the 30n for the option to bid coming from left field
No one did.
If there is a need identified for a particular player then the funds will be made available.
A 3 yr naming right deal for Goodison ??
Carlo has said they will be buying good young players to turn them into great players but if money is needed I’m sure it will be found somehow
Carlo did not come here on the promise of a sell to buy transfer kitty
We don’t want half our players , what makes you think other clubs that could afford them do
Megafon:How much will this job cost
NEC :2 Billion US dollars.
Megafon : Here is 2.5 billion dollars, now we have a small favour to ask you

If City do win their appeal is that the end of FFP as it currently stands ?

This will be very interesting as the very nature of FFP will be questioned as much as City's behaviour.

Why do people think City will end FFP? Clubs have been banned before for failing it and nothing has been done.

Because city know they've broken the rules and were expecting this, they've admitted that, so if you've admitted breaking the rules there's no point in fighting it unless you're going to fight the rules and claim that the rules themselves are against the law. Huge difference between the rules of an organization and the law.

Isn't their appeal based around the evidence of deceit (and the context) rather than taking on FFP?

Because ‘fighting it’ gives them the opportunity to string it out, get it suspended / reduced. Most do it, regardless of guilt. It’s the way the law works, almost expected.
