Wears Tim Cahill pyjamas
Time to get some joy into the thread..

Louis-Saha-006.jpg

Louis Saha

One of the best forwards in the English leagues today, not so long ago a United Number 9 and Title Winner. Great skill on and off the ball and is willing to play for the club. Once commanded a £13m price tag from Sir Alex Ferguson. Goalscorer in the FA Cup Final. Fantastic Goalscoring rate. Never mind the fact he's a French international.

Jermaine Beckford

Awesome goalscoring rate in the English leagues, tore apart League One by himself. Wanted to join Everton although he had plenty of interest from other clubs. Very quick and is soon enough earning himself a 'fox in the box' tag. And has also started scoring goals.

Victor-Anichebe-Everton-Premier-League_2355359.jpg

Victor Anichebe

One of the strongest players we have physically, a fully fledged international at 18. Shows great promise coming off the wing coming into a central role.

Jose Baxter

Touted as the next Gary Lineker by some pundits, and he's still on the books nevermind interest from Chelsea during the summer. Young and Hungry, time to let him loose!

Magaye Gueye

Seen him play pre-season and he looked very impressive, quick and skillful. Highly rated in France, not so much here. Untested in the big leagues, young and hungry. Moyes will play him at some point.

Might turn out that we don't need a striker.

Get VELLIOS on!!!

Nicely done there.....but don't forget

apostolos-vellios-aek-300x160.jpg

Apostolos Vellios

Young Greek striker, not scored many, but he's young and massive. Let's give him a shot..

Plus

Tim Cahill

Will probably be used at times =)

Let's not forget Hibbo..

Hibbo's right foot has to be registered as a weapon in multiple countries, including 17 states in the U.S.

Saha - Very good striker on his day, too injury prone and could easily be out for a month with a calf problem. Also finds it hard playing as a lone striker and does not seem to link well with Cahill either. Needs Beckford up with him, or a ball playing midfielder. In my opinion.

Beckford - Looks good, but that is all. His touch can be fairly poor, gets in good positions though, also seems to struggle playing lone striker though.

Anichebe - For me, not good enough.

Baxter - Not seen much of him recently, apart from his previous brief appearances in first team, looked too weak physically, although I hear they have worked on bulking him up a bit.

Gueye - Not ready, looks raw still, looking forward to him getting some game time more next season though.

Bottom line is, we have 1 quality striker who is injury-prone and one good one. We needed to add in this area, badly.

That's a given from the fans point of view, its merely a bit of positivity on a dull day when we face the gooners- nowt more than that

Vellios and Gueye will not get a look in. Just like Silva hasn't.

Saha is a timebomb.

Beckford needs a strike partner, and is still finding his feet.

Anichebe is a better wide player.

Cahill dictates the rest of our play, possibly to the team's detriment. I love Timmy, don't get me wrong, just saying.

Oh and yeah Baxter was woeful last time I checked. I doubt he's progressed that much since then. I'd lump him with Vellios and Gueye in the "bench at best" category.

Yeah, 'options'.

We need to stick Apostolos on and try and deflect the ball in off his head.

With his height he's our best chance of scoring.
