Why does everyone go to Fleetwood? Do players even have successful loans there? Surely we could get Gibson a better team?

I think one of our main scouts was recently recruited from there
A lad that played in England and Holland and Brands knew him well

Better teams are those going for promotion and they wouldn’t change a winning side to play him. Loanees need minutes and a mid-table League One team will give him minutes. It’s not rocket science.

Hopefully he doesn’t get dropped after 2 games like most of our loanees usually do.

Like I said previously, Lewis was always open to sign a contract extension and was waiting for the club. Brands has been very positive to him, but Silva was not.

I do wonder who is considered 4th choice CB. (Fairly amazing we haven’t needed one thus far)

Anyone know why its such a short term contract?
With alot of people saying he will go on loan again next season to a higher profile club than fleetwood.
Upon his return he will be in the same position of having 1 season left on his contract
