ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The trivialising of Hillsborough shows how debased a large amount of their support has become. Half and half scarf-wearing, Tory-voting, grief tourists with dodgy hard-drives.
Decent Reds, and there are still some, don't stoop to that level. Maybe post-1992 and Murdoch has brought a new breed of nobhead to follow foot in this country.

It's galling isn't it? Hillsborough could have happened to the fans of any club at the time, which is why it was such a tragedy... It highlighted the utter disregard everybody had for fans at the time.

But to weaponize it, 30 years later, as somebody with zero connection to it to justify your manager being a petulant sod who can't be arsed turning up to games he feels beneath him is beyond contempt.
they will use any means necessary sadly including Hillsborough to defend whatever is happening that doesn't sit right with any body outside the cult. petulant yes also arrogant too thinks hes too good thinks hes above the riff raff that arent in the 1st team usual suspects of mane salah van dyke etc. not turning up to watch or manage your team can't be defended.

They're going to win it, of course they are.
Get over it.
Will the resultant media fest make want to put my head down the bog and spew up my dinner?
Of course it will.
I've been sick before and quickly got over it.

The higher you go the further you fall.
The wheels will fall off - they always do...in the end.

Gengenpress will turn to Schadenfreude...and it will be enough to make a cat laugh.

Jeez.. they win the Champions League, World Club Cup.. and the Premier League is all but in the bag ...

And they can still find something to complain about.

I don't recall them be too put out by Sturridge's non ban or Sissoko's non handball in the CL final. Or their fans attacking the City coach. Or McDermott, or Jimmy Case ending a career or Hughes outrageous behaviour on the steps of St George's Hall

Or Ambulance chasing fans

Or the treatment of Shankly

Or their fans stealing tickets or bunking in to CL finals

Or wholesale Ticket Touting

Or knocking down whole streets and displacing communities

Or trying to own the word Liverpool

You just couldn't make it up. Next they'll be asking teams to concede the last ten games of the season to help them retain the CL.

Pulling the financial rug from under Shrewsbury's feet is appalling. How anyone can defend that I do not know.

But the thing about bringing Hillsborough into it defies belief

Although then again with that odious lot, it doesn't really. They were the same on the day itself. Remember those lads running across the pitch gurning at the camera and shouting 'they should have given us more tickets!' I do. While their own supporters were lying on the pitch. 'Me, me, me'. But nobody remembers that.

That sickened me then and the memory of it sickens me now. Everything about that club, from the top to the bottom. players, staff and supporters, is vile.
Hmmm, don't think I can agree with this.

Yes, those lads may have been doing that, but I'm sure it was before they realised the scale of the tragedy. Same thing happened at Bradford.

There is more than enough ammunition to demonstrate that their support are predominantly @rseholes without having to use that.

They have somehow managed to make the story of that arl woman who went on This Morning and spoke about getting walloped by her foreign toyboy about them.

Do we know why these dopes are so insecure yet?
