We played well.

We should have won by 3 or 4.

The usual culprits let us down.

They need to be replaced.

Things are moving in the right direction.

This season was already a write off.

We will be competitive in 18 months with the right recruitment.

Yes, indeed. Southampton, who got thumped 0-9 not long ago are a couple of points ahead of us in 9th. And with a goal difference of -11. Had we concentrated for 90 seconds last night, we would be a point ahead of them in 8th and knocking on top six.

It is both a testament to the Southampton player/staffs resilience and our own weakness that they are where they are. And shame on our bunch.

Had to time to sleep on that one, and still seems surreal and unreal.
The only consolation you can take from last night, is that there wasn't 5/6 mins added on initially.
We were in full Everton mode, and Newcastle would have scored a third.

Way to many times this season I’ve been left in a state where I literally have just had to put down my phone and not come near GOT or Twitter. Still doesn’t seem real.

But here we are, hopefully with the slight break, Richy comes back and replaces Walcott, surely Richy, DCL & Kean could all rotate through those 3 fwd positions, while Bernard & Iwobi fight it out at the inverted LM/10 position . At least our attack is starting to look positive.
