ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It’s hard to get annoyed about it, they are massively superior in spirit and effort to anything else in the league, so for that you have to acknowledge how good they are.

It's that nutritionist they got from Bayern that's behind the physical miracle. In any other sport there would be some investigation.
I did read a couple of years ago that Pep contacted her to see if she could work at City in a duel role and Klopp made sure that didn't happen.

She worked at Bayern under Heynkes and that side was a energetic pressing machine of a team.

Ancelotti was reportedly livid when Klopp had hired the fitness guy and her weeks before he arrived at Bayern.

Whoever she is, she seems to be the best in her field in football, I think she worked for the German Olympic team before she arrived at Bayern.

Genuinely never seen a side with so much energy, it's no surprise teams cannot cope with them. Add that to the players performing 110% week in week out because they absolutely adore their manager, and it just makes them unbeatable in the league, as proven for almost two seasons. I do find it embarrassing when people on here are saying they're on performance-enhancing drugs, etc, like that could happen in the Premier League in 2020. Has there ever been as big a gap between 1st and 2nd in the league at this stage of the season? It's ridiculous, but City have themselves to blame for leaving their squad short. I fully expect City to drop plenty more points yet. I think the RS could win the league by about 25 or more points. Just have to hope City return with a vengeance next year, otherwise the RS could become the United of the 90s. Scary thought.
Waiting for the usual planks to chime in with their boring "you're a RS yourself" comments.

Not me, Thomas.

I will never “acknowledge“ anything positive about the buggers.

The hatred runs far too deep in this Bitter Blue.

:pint2:

I can’t be arsed with all that, life’s too short to be bitter, especially about something like football, but I know we are all different.

I have come to terms with what is about to happen this season and it is probably better it is happening in this long drawn out fashion so we will all be anesthetised by the time it becomes official rather than they triumphed in a dramatic last day finale after a string on nerve wracking weekends like we endured as City hunted them down last season.

But here’s what worries me.

That City team needs a massive overhaul so a period of transition is on the cards there....particularly as Pep will probably call it a day in the next year or two.

United are in such a rut I cannot see them challenging any time soon.

Ditto Chelsea.

So we could well be in for a protracted spell of this dominance.

We may have to step up and do it ourselves....as in 1985.
