I bet there are a few on here disappointed though that the team was encouraged and not booed on. Oh and that the atmosphere was not "toxic" as some said they hoped.
Regarding the game itself, since when was that not a penalty against Walcott? VAR is turdish. Also why did Carlo sub Bernard our best player? Was it to defend a 1-0? My Grandson not at the match saw it on TV and said it was a certain penalty. 28 points and 15 to go for safety and ten the cull of rubbish begins (I hope).

If we were relatively stable I’d agree with you but given the mild turmoil we’re currently in I think it’s a decent result. Hell of a long way to go though
Agree with this, but if we were 2 or 3 goals up when we should be (rather than 1-0, or 0-0), then we would be in a better position to blood younger players. As things stand you can forgive any of our managers for being a bit averse to risk.

Bernard great today. Looked head and shoulders above the rest, while being literally head and shoulders below the rest.

Last 20 mins we were very twitchy, and I thought we’d concede, but fair play for holding on.

Crowd very quiet. Delph got booed coming on.

What’s the verdict on the Walcott penalty early on? Looked a stonewall penalty to me, but haven’t seen it back. Punished for not going down?

The Brighton fan's below me, in the Upper Bullen's, were singing about it 'being like a library'.

The reaction after the Liverpool debacle is one of resignation and acceptance.

That itself is more toxic than protests and banners.

If we look at things purely results wise, since Silva left we have only lost to the current champs, the likely next champs () and current 2nd placed team. Apart from that sh#tshow last week, I'm ok with that!

Dear oh Dear oh dear! Did you not know that this particular ditty about the library is standard for all away fans at all games? Listen next time you go or indeed every TV game where there is decent away support present. The other standard for away fans which you might have missed is, (avoiding bad language of course), "your support is (word omitted but means not very good".

:) You are not wrong, that sang that as well today.
