one way to look at the neville thing is - hes got no ambition, doesnt want to play in the CL and play for a team with aspirations this season for a pop at the top 3, what type of mentality is that. boot him out the door

The Gosling situation was a bit of a joke agreed but IMO he wasn't all that , he was weak and gave the ball away more times then I can remember and just because he scored against Man Utd and Liverpool doesn't make him a great player..Your valuation of him at 3 million maybe correct but I don't remember clubs knocking down the door to sign him.

Regarding Pienaar and his attacking force down the left gone , we have a great little Russian who can also do that job and him not playing in the team , the blame lies at Moyes feet , Moyes knew he would be losing Pienaar and it was upto him to bed in Bily on that left side before Pienaar left..

If the board are not what the majority of the fans want then maybe there should be signs or flags made to protest at home games , start chanting "Board Out" **CUE** Moyes coming out and defending the board and Bill Kenwright..

It's not perfect agreed but it COULD BE WORSE...I would rather have Kenwright then the previous Chairman that's for sure..

I love Everton and all I want is the team to start showing their true potential , This has to come from the Players and the Manager...

Ok, so assuming we have got to this stage of January and all of our ideas have been rebuffed due to no money, not enough money, ridiculous wage demands, players not feeling comfortable with the picture painted of our club and rejecting us out of hand, apparent in the bag deals being broken for 1 or more of these reasons...

It leaves us with 4 days to something about our current 17 player senior squad (which of course includes 3 goalies)

Do we:

a) waste some wages on a Bosnar/Said/Plesis/Gardner, who Moyes has no intention of playing, or...

b) rely on some yougsters Baxter/Wallace/Duffy/Agard, who Moyes has no intention of playing...

Tough one...

Everyones despreate for new faces at the club but what if there isent anybody avalible that Moyes actually wants at the club, maybe hes waiting until the summer to make his move when the player/players he is intrested in will be easier/cheaper to get after all the Jan transfer window always sees average players going for stupid money because alot of teams panic buy

What im saying is yer i want new players but i dont want any old dross brought in just for the sake of it and the little money we have wasted

Yes because I'm sure everyone wants to get by with just Saha, Beckford, or God forbid, Anichebe up front for the rest of the season. And if Saha gets injured, which let's be honest is pretty much nailed on with his injury record, what do we do then?
