My euphoria with the appointment of Ancelotti is slowly ebbing away to be replaced by the previous "Silva" feeling of apathy.

Hopefully something will happen soon to raise the spirits again...

Long hard period of graft and trying to get this squad to play and individuals to improve for Ancelotti and co. I hope we have the patience as a fan base as I don't think spirits are going to rise very quickly. I'd take that if it yielded sustained improvements.

But gana wasn’t a defensive midfielder. He’s nothing like Fabinho, Fernandinho or ndidi who are specialist number 6’s.

And when did Gana control any game. He was a fantastic tackler and great at hassling the opposition and winning the ball back. But very average on the ball.

I personally like him, yes he is limited by pace but if he was more selfish like Dom has become (by which i mean getting into scoring positions instead of helping others), he will be okay.
If he is on 100k and is now 28-29 then getting £20m for him wont be bad business. I can see both sides of people opinions when it comes to Cenk.
