I gather we have now lost yet another player this window and as of yet haven't replaced any of them.

June-Aug 08 - Income: £10.5 million, Expenditure: £12.9 million.
Jan 09 - No income or expenditure.
June-Aug 09 - Income: £24 million, Expenditure: £20.1 million
Jan 10 - Income: £1 million, Expenditure; Nil
Jun-Aug 10 - Income: Nil, Expenditure: £1.4 million.
Total Income over this period is £40.25 million. Total Expenditure is £35.40 million. Net Spend is - £4.85 million.

If we include the current transfer window then there is net spend of - £7.85 million. Now read those figures and tell me that Everton are being run correctly!

That's not strictly true mate. Neiler reckons our custodians have improved the club and will pass the club on to new owners in better shape than ever before. And he's not even blind. :unsure:
 
By the way, where is Bill and his usual bull? Apologies if I've missed any pearls of wisdom from Buffalo Bill, but I don't recall seeing, hearing, or reading anything from him for a while. Have I missed something or have I just become immune to the smell of bullsheeeeit?

That's a very good question. You can tell what a financial mess we're in when Billy Liar cant summon up the brass neck cheek to come out of his bunker to be interviewed.

Quite clearly, they have.

Clearly the situation the Club are in spending wise is a poor one. No one would deny that. But how many other Clubs are in the same boat? Can anyone grab a net spend for each Club this season to see where we are in comparison?
 

I honestly think the next item in the fire sale wont be part of a swap, it'll be for cash to pay down creditors.

Under his tenure , indeed in recent times , we have seen Wyness and then Elstone appointed , effectively , C.E.O. 2 more GLARING anathema to Everton FC , and it's Ethos and Supporters , I cannot think of off the top of my head .

Well , THE KID WAS WORTH £3M !!! That's £3m WE DIDN'T HAVE , yet our Chairman , the man whom acts and speaks OFFISHALL St. Domingo , chose to fall out , on a personal level with the Ex RS Agent , and the kid left for nothing .

Irrespective of your own views on his abilities , he could play wide , and in 18 months had scored goals in victories over both Manchester and Lliverpool Reds .

Such behaviour is UTTERLY unbecoming to the role of Everton Chairman .

I was no fan of Peter Johnson but I have always thought that if he had still owned the club at the time of the King's dock he would have seized that opportunity with both hands. Also I think I'm right in thinking that the guy actually underwrote a share issue which is more than Bill and the current board have done.

I'd completely disagree with that. Pre-season, all fans where optimistic with that board in place.

Responsibility is 50/50 in my eyes. The managers job is to do the best with the resources available. He hasn't.
