He's in contract till summer 2012 so would only become an issue if no sale in the summer. For all that he's contributed (due largely to injury) to be fair , Baxter as much as he isn't Prem ready could give us the same gametime as Vaughan over the last 12 months. As it stands we save 1/4million or so as trivial an amount that that is. Still sad he's not going to be able to stick with us so good luck Vaughany mate.

I really thought he was out of contract in the summer, great - we still would get a fee though admittedly not as much as he came through the academy.

Still a bad bad mess by the club the whole Celtic fall through, whoever the club secretary is they need sorting out, Obinna, Gosling and now this.

Have always liked Vaughany, hes a player and no mistake, seems Davey has given up on him, his decions lately have been bizare, Yobo Yak and now Vaughan.

All i can say is he must have a lot of faith in Saha.

Agreed pity we generally don't- the secretary stuff probably ties in with what THT says about the day to day running of the club.

I thought his contract expired this summer too. Right now Vaughany needs to look after himself. He isn't going to progress any further at everton because he needs time on the pitch to improve his game.

Good luck to the lad, he always gave it his all. Let's hope he doesn't put too many past us in the future...
