He won’t ffs it’s a derby why would he play a reserve side? Jesus Christ.
Like I’ve said earlier, I don’t think he’ll make the huge changes like some are advocating, but it will not a full strength side with at least four or four changes.

Why? The cup isn’t a priority for the club and with a weakened side they thrashed us last time, so I suspect he’ll think there’s still lots of leeway.

We can win of we believe it.
Just Sidibe worries me with their long balls into the channels. Just please do it Everton, long overdue.
His positional awareness is his weak point also, meant to be playing full back and often finds himself in centre mid chasing the ball, even seen him upfront the other week against Burnley I think it was.

I am old enough to remember the favoured "sweeper system" at many top clubs and i wonder if that would be a way to come to terms with the way Liverpool build their goals momentum.....from what I remember the sweeper acted as essentially a last line of defence behind a back three or four and in front of the goalkeeper but also was able to push forward into an offensive midfield position when the situation demanded....to my mind Holgate could excell in that position but would we then have to go with a defensive line in front of him that included Keane thus sacrificing the two up front situation we employ at the moment as Richardsson would have to operate more in a wide midfeield role....my suggested line up with a sweeper....Pickford, Holgate, Coleman, Keane/Sidibe, Mina, Digne, Richardsson, Davies, Schnderlin, Walcott, DCL...only a thought!!!

Nothing to lose, so nothing to fear, so let them worry about us. Ancelotti is a big time manager so knows how important these games are. We've 8 000 Evertonians at the game who will hopefully get right behind the team. "We're gonna win the cup, we're gonna win the cup .....

If they play a bunch of kids our reputation is on the line

We have players who have played 4 games in under 2 weeks as well. Would not be surprised if holgate, siggy, dcl or richarlison didnt start.

Richarlison, DCL, Siggs and Sidibe are the 4 I'd be worried about as far as playing alot of minutes over the past 2/3 weeks...think we've fairly well rotated in every other area since the United game...

I'd be very happy with a draw today, and bring them back to Goodison... Would ba another game liverpool really don't want, and a chance for us to get back to more strength...

Holgate has played last 4 hasn't he. Sidibe was rested in one

Looking at bookmakers odds, feel they know something we don't. Few days ago Liverpool was strong favorite, today the odds are pretty slashed...
