This is like deja vue with the Lookman situation the lad gets talked up delivers nothing shame there isn't a reserves league anymore where certain players would benefit from playing against men instead of kids

Really no need for the humiliation and ignoring him when he came off the pitch was just as bad.
I love DF but that was terrible man management.

Don't agree. When you're on the pitch at Old Trafford and the team needs to pull out a result, the last thing you should do is stroll around. That, plus a photo posted of him earlier blowing for tugs shows DF was right to pull him, as he contributed nothing. Rather have Niasse grafting out there than Kean not putting a shift in. With Kean on the pitch it was like playing with 10 men...

If we are not in a position to play to Keans strengths dont sub him on in the first place.

Doing what he did was absolutely idiotic regardless of Kean -

It damages the players confidence
It damages the team morale
It can create cliques in the dressing room
Its a waste of an actual sub in the game

BUT EY DOH LADS DAT BIG DUNC SHOWN SUM PASHUN HOOKIN MOIST OFF NNSO

Damages team morale on the presumption the other players actually side with him, Personally I'd tell him to sort his crap out and actually start pulling his weight

So much fuss made about Keans sub, he should just turn up at training knuckle down and try to impress, he may only be 19 but he’s paid a lot of money to perform and in half a season we have seen very little of him. Even silva didn’t play him perhaps he isn’t that good or still not ready, sulking back to ltaly would just make him look a failure.

There's no evidence he isn't doing just that

Kean just strolled around when we were not in possession.

Not acceptable. The others had been pulling their guts out for the team.

Doesn't matter how young you are - if you haven't got the right attitude and approach required, you don't deserve to be on the pitch. End of.

He covered 2.09 km in 18 minutes

That included six sprints - we had three players make more sprints (and all of them played 90 mins)

I just don't agree that DF managed it in the best way possible, he humiliated the lad and didn't attempt to explain his decision to him, just let him walk off the pitch.

That was great man management. Message sent to Kean and the rest of the squad about what is expected from an Everton player.
Dunc has gone up in my estimation for dealing with an over-hyped, over-paid snowflake in such an efficient manner.

Why did management have him on the bench if he isnt fit enough?
