Seen as though you named him I'll give you another two words .... Eden Hazard ! They WERE the 2 that he wanted in the summer ! They would have changed us into TOP 4 Side no probs. Moyes met Hazard back end of last season, HE wanted to come !! €19 million Euros dictated otherwise !!

FACT .....

Seriously?. He would of been class!. Not a chance of signing him anymore, even if we had the money i would imagine.

Can i just ask, where was Moyes planning on getting the money from for these types of signings?.

Sorry im a bit behind.

This is something he's done throughout his time at Everton, though, and to poor effect for the most part. We've got ex-wonderkids from the US and Europe coming out of the woodwork at Finch Farm.

It sounds like quantity over quality.

I disagree but we shall see .

The THING is ; ITS THE FIRST . IF IT WERENT , ID SAY THAT , TOO .

Chill , peoples ,...

I disagree as well. DAVEK'S just on an EFC downer over anything he can these days.

Barkely. Garbutt. Bidwell. (poss.) Baxter and Wallace (Osman type players / late developers). HOPE.

... then he's supplementing it.

Got no problem with this. Buy them young.

Don't do a Walter Smith and sign a load of has beens. That had EFC on it's knees.

I'm baffled by the negative reaction to a lad who came through the same system as Luis Figo and co., and is massively rated by pretty much everyone who has ever watched him.

I'm excited about him for the future, but as LCAB says, there's others in the pipeline - this is just one of a few.

Transfer update ;

Everton are in the process of completing their first piece of business by signing a Sporting Lisbon player on loan. He's a defender, just waiting for S; to confirm the name ...

Eric Dier aint it?. Supposed to be quite a talent, and English.

Hilariously, SSN have just claimed we are in for Ashley Young. They then put the rumour to Graeme Sharp, who said "No".

This .

No . To my knowledge . I heard RS . Him an' Suarez .

Ashley Young would fit right in their. Snide.

I see LCAB beat everyone AGAIN to the drop on this Eric kid.

Got no problem with buying the young lad. I remember when we were signing 33 year old Ginola... 32+ year old Gascoigne.. and all that.

You need a side with experience mixed in - not an entire bloody XI !

So would be happy for this - as a start. Shows OUR BEST DAYS ARE AS MUCH AHEAD AS BEHIND.

Glad we've got this young kid signing, we can always do with getting young players in, especially because of our financial restrictions. I'm sure Moyes will bring in some decent players, he obviously knows as well as we do that now with Yak and Pienaar gone, we need at least one good replacement.

Thanks for early info LCAB & THT (y)
