Not really. He was sitting away from Moshiri. How many times do you see prospective managers sitting in director's boxes? Loads.

...usually after their appointment is confirmed (Allardyce v West Ham). You might be right, Dave, but I’m not sure a ‘candidate‘ would go the game unless the deal was tied up. Be interesting what happens with this one, he is now 7/2 favourite and I’d be happy if I was sitting on a 50-1 betting slip earlier this afternoon.

Saying that, i wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a case of 2+2=5.

If his agent is there, he's there for contract purposes.

My question would be: if he's intent on a job elsewhere (Arsenal) why does his agent need to be here at GP today?

I'm not saying he's gong to be manager defo, but his agent there today means business was discussed and firm talks taken place.

We'll see.

It's hard for me to think he's there for anything other than to discuss the vacancy. It may not be that far along though. He may be weighing his options up.

Was his work at Frankfurt even that positive?

I dont know mate. I only believe hat you do: if people think he was there today to take in a game alone, they have to be mistaken. Nailed on EFC had talks with him, especially with his agent there.

How d'you mean "back peddle"?.
