There is no number 10 today, it is 4-4-2

Iwobi on the left wing, Richy up top next to DCL

I don't think he's that good, but yes, in this set up he's the focal point - it's all on him to get that team transitioning; him and DCL.

Iwobi isn't a number 10 today, that's a 4-4-2 - Iwobi is left midfield. We aren't playing a number 10. Indeed, that's my whole point - when we transition into attack, it's all on Sigurdsson to break his neck getting into the number 10 role to support the attack. DCL is the hold-up striker, Richarlison is the one looking to cause mischief and get in behind.

You don't know how they'll setup yet.

Sky reckon this;

But yeah, lets put the whole focus/emphasis on Sigurdsson. It's ALL on him - isn't it?

It's boring, change the tune.

Not expecting miracles today. I will be happy if they just put in a big passionate effort as that has been missing for pretty much this whole season.

COYB's

Nice to see a 442 but worried about that midfield against theirs. Think we will be bypassing the midfield a lot when on the ball and going back to front quickly. Lets see some energy blues, do Dunc and the club proud today.

If that's the line-up, then the fulcrum of the team in attack is Iwobi. And we get leathered because Chelsea's midfield will run riot on ours due to a lack of pace and mobility.

I'm going on the assumed 4-4-2 that Everton have published as the formation. If that's the case, the fulcrum is hitting the ball to DCL and having Sigurdsson as key support.

If that's the case, it's an opportunity for Sigurdsson to prove his quality.

”look at Liverpool’s side”.

Remember why I don’t listen to that now.

My point proven.

Fans readily put all the focus/emphasis on Sigurdsson.

Scapegoating, even if you don't realise it.

[Edit] Under Silva, Iwobi would be on a hiding to nothing under that system because every attack goes wide.

Siggy and Schneids CM pairing?

Dear god, no.

Don’t we have any young CMs to call up? Because those two together are so slooooow. We will never keep or win back possession.
