At last some good news, it must have turned into a season of goodwill,

It certainly would mean more if it was announced the morning after Pochettino was confirmed as manager. You can’t raise prices when the quality of what you’re offering decreases year on year. If anything they should be decreasing them as every year their slice of tv money gets bigger and the standard of entertainment they’re offering goes down. Why should fans pay the same amount to watch a team scrap at the bottom of the league as they would to watch a team challenge for trophies?
I go out and put my life on the line for them. I try to sweat blood and tears for this club
Is this true mate.

I agree with you on this point. At last some good news, it must have turned into a season of goodwill,, until tomorrow anyway.

Theres complaining for the sake of complaining...
Its really good of the club to keep the prices the same, you cant slate them for that.
Capitalism comes second in thie case.
From his point of view, odd timing to sign a new contract given how obviously close he is to the manager and his job security.
But, yep, good news. Either he's very committed to the club or we get top dollar for him if we sell.
The absolute state of that release clause!
He isnt going to base his career around what Silva does mate.
He knows Silva's next employers wont be able to afford him.
