Pienaar Signs for Spurs...

A derby game none the less.

There you have it, confirmation that Pienaar is a ****house.

From what we know he's held out for outrageous wages at Everton. Fair enough, if they cant pay him let him go. We just dont have it because we're not competitive financially.
When all's said and done though, we had the right to just rebuff all offers this January nd retain him. We didn't though and decided to allow him to speak to other clubs. We cant really go off at the deep end and denounce Pienaar for not still wanting to be involved.

Not looking to argue with you by the way, and you're defo getting my vote for the newly created post of President of GOT that's yet to be announced.

Hahaha, fair point.

I just have been onto him from the start with his phoney soundbytes in the media from him and his agent about not wanting to go etc. He's wanted a massive paycheck that the club aren't willing to give him. He's a ****house.

When he signed his initial contract from being on loan that nearly fell through thanks to his agent and him being greedy f*cks.

Bye Steven, you tit.

He's supposed to be a pro and should have played there if asked.

That said, that's the way I see most of them mate. Baines was fantastic before Christmas, though - knocking back a move to Bayern Munich, when, let's face it, we all know our board would have snatched the hand off a sizeable bid for him. But he's local and his roots and family are here, so it weighs against him being a mercenary a bit....obvious exceptions like Rooney aside. The non-local lads: if a bid came in with big wages they'd be off in a heartbeat.

Everton accepted bid from Chelsea, turned down a bid from Spurs, Pienaar couldn't agree terms with Chelsea, back to Spurs, nothing agreed yet...

So, it begs the question... he's still an Everton player, why wasn't he forced to play?

I'd like to know if he's receiving wages this week...

Remember what happened when Lescott was forced to play. We need everyone focussed any committed for a derby. Plus, if he'd picked up an injury we could kiss goodbye to a transfer fee.

No room for hero worshipping anymore in the game Dave- if there ever was. The last thing I'd ever do for my kids is allow them a players name on their shirts

One could say Dave, there are two types of player.

That, basically.

As for the transfer fee, maybe, but this is the Merseyside derby we're talking about.

The little <manure>house fancied a lie in, simple as.

He should have been sold in the summer.

It's all about managing your resources. We've miss managed a big resource there. Shame.

He was our player of the year and we probably believed there was a chance of him signing a new contract. We probably could have resolved it sooner. Perhaps Pienaar and his agent dragged it out to ensure that he was going to be on a free and in line for a fat signing on fee?

Gone by Tuesday I hope.

And I hope it transpires that we,Everton, got the best out of him and he goes on to fade into obscurity.
