Everton accepted bid from Chelsea, turned down a bid from Spurs, Pienaar couldn't agree terms with Chelsea, back to Spurs, nothing agreed yet...
So, it begs the question... he's still an Everton player, why wasn't he forced to play?
I'd like to know if he's receiving wages this week...
Everton boss David Moyes on Steven Pienaar: "We've had one offer from Chelsea which has been accepted. The offer we have had from Tottenham hasn't been accepted. He spoke to me yesterday and said he didn't feel his head was right to play in the game."
Because we need money...and Pienaar gets injured, we get **** all.
A derby game none the less.
There you have it, confirmation that Pienaar is a ****house.
Life ain't it? If he was available and no fee has been agreed, he's a contracted Everton player.
That's akin to saying that once we realised Rooney was worth megabucks we should have sat him on the bench wrapped in cotton wool until a bid came in.
Yep. He's played his last game now. He has no choice but to take whatever wage he's given.
And good riddance.
Moyes said we've accepted Chelsea's bid, hence there's not point in playing him if he doesnt want to play, or gets injured and we get nothing.
We aint accepted the Spurs one so...Pienaar cant talk to Spurs can he?
Pienaar turned down Chelsea two or three days ago after they offered him the same wage as Everton to be a squad player.
There's no active bid right now. So he's completely an Everton player.
Everton have accepted an offer from Chelsea for Steven Pienaar. what's the point of another Yossi Benayoun-level player?!

But that can be sorted out, and if he doesnt want to play in a big game, he shouldnt play.
But again, if we havent accepted a bid from Spurs, he's not allowed to talk to them is he? Its only foreign clubs.
Correct. He can only arrange a pre-contract agreement with Spurs, which again means he's our player until his contract expires. Spurs cannot approach the player without a formal acknowledgement from Everton whilst the player remains under contract.

He should have been sold in the summer.
It's all about managing your resources. We've miss managed a big resource there. Shame.
