Value means nothing. Moyes had a more balanced squad.

Worth remembering if he was to come back here he would not have total control of the playing staff this time.
True that. Will never know how it will go unless they try it though. Perhaps he could supplement Brands’ efforts?

Been saying this for a while. That West Ham win was the worst thing that could’ve happened to us... it bought Silva the time to put us in this predicament

We are deep in the relegation mire at the right now, and the only people who don't seem to be worried/are not seeing it, is the Board.

Merrily going on their way, and seemingly oblivious to the danger signs/consequences of it happening.

They seem to think that Silva has been "unlucky"; VAR decisions, injuries, but that is what happens to teams that are relegated.

They get an unlucky decision here/an unlucky VAR decision there/a central midfield injury or three.

No worries, this manager will pull us out of the mire, and before you know it it's April, and we're 19th, and then the realisation dawns that we might get relegated here if we don't change the manager, that has picked Schneiderlin/Sigurdson in 80% of the matches, makes substitutions in the 70/75 minute, takes off the wrong players, plays DCL instead of Kean in 80% of the matches.

I could go on and on, but if we don't sort this mess out promptly, April is around the corner people.

The only saving grace is if we go down can you imagine the protests at the board on that final day?

Kenwrong will be crying wanting to go back home to the dogs, Moshiri will be bumbling about better days knowing his golden egg has just evaporated and Silva will be tarred & feathered.

Got to look for the positives.

14 points from 14 games.
Conceded more goals after 90 mins than any other team.
Only Norwich lost more games than us, joint with Southampton and Watford. Two of the only other worse teams in the league.
Lost to all 3 promoted teams.
Lost more games than won in his time here.
Never won after going behind.
Easiest run in to a Premier League season would we could possibly ask for and we are sitting 17th.

Feel free to add more.

Yet our board think this fella is good enough for us. What an absolute travesty.
