I don't think they were ready for the reaction on Saturday tbh. It was comparatively out of the blue vs the growing intensity of unrest leading up to Martinez's departure.. and the persistent unrest before BFS even sat down.

Which tells you that the club is basing keeping him in a job with individual results rather than overall form.

As depressing as that is. We win Sunday and maybe he turns things around, writing the next two off as expected losses and try again after Chelsea

To be fair, that's only one interpretation of what it tells you.

It's just as likely that they really believe he's capable of turning it round, but ultimately have a point at which they will say enough is enough and get rid. We all have that point, for some it was months ago, for me it was Saturday, maybe for the club it will be this sunday.

Your right they’ve clearly not said that he’s getting sacked is I doubt very much he would be taking a training session.nothing official has come out of the club though has it this is the problem we are all reading stuff on social media and papers and of sources like the under 21 players dad but the club haven’t actually said anything
