Pienaar isn't going to get a game at Spurs.

We play to his strengths. If he isn't the focal part of a team, if play isn't constantly going through him, he's half the player. That's why he flopped at Dortmund, and never got a kick at the World Cup.

In two years, he'll be linked with a return.

You missed out - his appearance on the bench as Everton beat Spurs...

Just thought I'd add my two penneth.

No mate as I can see 'Arry now thinking Everton's left side is boss lets try and re-create that !! He doesn't do thinking Mr Redknapp !!!

Our left side is quite unbalanced imo, Baines is superb, Piennars a hard worker but he's very lucky to be infront of Baines as he lacks in a lot of areas. Baines deson't look any different when Piennars not there, whether that was pre season or all the games we've played this year, Baines just carries on making goals as normal.

It the same at Spurs, Bale is top class, Ekotto is a weak link, it would be easier just to replace Ekotto then to try and make Bale a left back and then try to find a better left sided midfielder than Bale as there doesn't seem to be one in this country at the moment.

Agree mate. Baines has been fine there when both Ossie and Bily have played LM, and that's why I'm not worried anymore about losing Pienaar. I'm worried about us not getting much dosh, though.

Agree.

If anything I'd say this season Baines >>> Pienaar.

Pienaar's prone to and made huge defensive lapses at times.

Remember the penalty at OT ?

Remember us winning in the 90th minute against Arsenal and he kicked it out and they subsequently scored - because he didn't hold it up?

Please don't subscribe to his agent's "Saint Pienaar" image. ITS ALL ABOUT GREED.

I'd rather he went abroad but if he goes to Spurs doesn't matter. As soon as someone say's they're not in it FOR EVERTON...

they know where the door is.

Its about us getting money to facilitate a replacement IN IT FOR EVERTON.

I recall his arrival. He'd done STUFF ALL in Germany. His career was on it's knees. And him and his agent made their intent obvious when they would only sign at two year deal in 2009 after his loan.

The other thing as well is just what a COMPLETE AND UTTER **** his agent's been. Scum of the earth style.

Nope. There's the door Steven. Don't let it hit you on the way out.

LCAB et al, many thanks for keeping the uninformed informed! Exhausted after wading through 115 pages, 5 of which were added whilst reading the thread, but will return.
