Not many teams play the way we do with Pienaar, so you're spot on. That's why I said he's massively overrated as the system we play literally accomodates for him.

That won't happen at Spurs. Destined to be a flop once Spurs fans figure out he's a wideman who can't beat a man on the outside to save his life.

The only way he won't flop is if Spurs move Bale to left back and use him as their Baines, with Pienaar playing the role he does now.

Unless Bale gets dropped to left back...Pienaar is second fiddle to van der vaart, modric, bale and Lennon.

I'm fine thanks mate . Just a bit frustrated that 2 players I really liked have been allowed to leave without replacements before an important derby match ! I'm still slightly hopeful Pienaar will play tomorrow but it's fading from what I'm hearing !!

Pienaar is easily one of my fav players to watch, very dissapointed to see him go but tbh I'd rather get a little return for our investment if the reality is he goes for nudda in the summer. Cheers for correction on Krancjar too.

Why didn't the chelsea interest die? I'd rarther he went there than spurs even if we got less.
