If it's down to moshiri and kenwright it will be a Moyes ,Hughes type appointment .I've seen no evidence of brands transforming the academy side of things the u23s seems to have absolutely no one apart from Gordon who can challenge the 1st team. and if brands has no input into the next manager what is the point of employing him

Sparky Hughes or Malky Mackay are short odds favourites. I don’t like either but those two are probably the best Everton can attract nowadays.

Manchester city and Tottenham both took the next step to make top four. They have never been massively bigger than us.
I went to watch city v Everton at Main road. It only held about 33000. It took city some years to win the league. There first aim was top four.

If Moyes comes back then Brands renders himself redundant and pointless in one swoop.

That would be a hell of a fall inside 18 months.

It would really set the seal on years of incompetence and reveal a total lack of anything faintly resembling a plan.
