The thing is if you add up all the managers we have hired and sacked since David Moyes then it makes sense to bite the bullet and get that big name manager. Otherwise every two years maximum we are compensating another manager.
There is just no business sense in hiring another middle of the road manager.

If it's down to moshiri and kenwright it will be a Moyes ,Hughes type appointment .I've seen no evidence of brands transforming the academy side of things the u23s seems to have absolutely no one apart from Gordon who can challenge the 1st team. and if brands has no input into the next manager what is the point of employing him
