Funny you say this as i cant work that out either, ive been up Snowdon a few times when its covered in ice and minus temperature, in really good mountain gear, and its freezing, but Everest is another 26,000ft higher, with cloths on that absorb water, i dont get it. Unless he was just dead hard!....and the ‘did he climb Everest first’ debate continues to this day. Amazing when you think lads going to the match on Saturday will have better weatherproof clothing than he did.
I had it in my mind that Mallory was born in Birkenhead.
From Birkenhead, body never been found....... I bet that sentence has been used on many more occasions than this lolFunny you say this as i cant work that out either, ive been up Snowdon a few times when its covered in ice and minus temperature, in really good mountain gear, and its freezing, but Everest is another 26,000ft higher, with cloths on that absorb water, i dont get it.
