Reading optimism on here reminds me of speaking to friends in Martinez last season.

Oh we won, he is turning it around.

He isn't, beating the teams In the bottom 3.

If we win the next 2 then the season league wise completely changes for us. It shouldn't do given how many defeats but there we go. It's important we go into December with momentum because pick a few results up there and maybe this season turns salvageable . Whether Silva is salvageable is another question for another time

So therefore if we do win, he’s turning it around you’ve answered your own post mate.

The problem is we are just treading water this season.

Look at clubs like Leicester & even Wolves - teams built to play a certain way/system and you can see what the managers are trying to do/the philosophy behind it all.

We have Richarlison up top one week, DCL the next, Tosun the one after (who was previously frozen out).

Richarlison out wide right one week, then Walcott

Iwobi through the middle one week, out wide left the week after then dropped with Richarlison out wide left.

He literally has no idea of what team/system he is going with and its just throw 11 blokes out there every week and hope it sticks.

NEA he should have gone after Burnley- we need a manager to come in and build a side/system that will set us up for the next couple of seasons not this current mish mash.

The club has zero direction on or off the pitch.

We’ve lost our entire midfield and haven’t replaced lukaku, and we’ve had sheer bad luck, give the man a chance aye.

He's bought a £24m striker, to go with the £50m Brazilian striker he was bought last summer. So that's tosh.

And Gomes wasn't injured for the Burnley and Brighton games either, he either started or subbed on in both.

People have given him plenty of chances, you're just doing your usual superbloo stuff.

Yes, he's had (to repeat) a £24m striker in THIS SUMMER to supplement the £50m attacker he was bought last summer.

Only "superbloos" would deny he's been allowed to spend serious wedge, and that's what you are doing. Lukaku left ages ago.

Quite correct in your summation but although we are struggling so too are Spurs, Arsenal and Man U that is beskde the point though Silva should be released.

Not necessarily , if he wins the games we should be winning then it proves nothing.

Winning the games we are writing off and having a strong league finish is turning it around.
.
We have only 1 match in November left though

2 , Norwich and Newcastle

Edit - no we don't. I was sure we played both them this month.

Well then, one win is neither here nor there then for momentum
