He's become the whipping boy that everyone blames the problems on regardless of what happens. I don't think he's good but the narrative around him is way over the top and at this point absurd levels of blaming him for everything.

I mean earlier in the year when he was playing we were asking him to shield the backline and get the ball forward to the attackers and he was doing that at a reasonable level. The attackers weren't doing anything with it and goals were going in from set plays and late counters when we were chasing the game. Somehow that was all his fault.

I don't really care for him and think he should be replaced but to me he's like the 5th worst thing about this lineup and people will sit here all day going on and on about how bad he is. I find that to be too much and a bit unfair.

In the absence of Delph, Gbamin and Gomes the manager had to bring in Schneiderlin…. as much as I wish he didn't have to.
Tosun scored last week and certainly displays a great attitude, I think he has deserved a start , it is up to him now to stake a place for himself.

I find it strange that the inclusion of one player (Sigurdsson) ruins the team for me. I am hoping that he will play a much deeper role and let Davies go forward and that I could accept. Unfortunately, I am not convinced that will happen.

A hugely important game for the manager today and I hope I am wrong but if offered a point now I would take it.

I would have been happy with a front four of Richarlison, Tosun, Iwobi and Walcott.

Dont understand the Kean love in here. He has done NOTHING so far. Schneiderlin plays because we have nobody else. Sigurdsson or Iwobi is choosing between pest and cholera. Tosun is at least fearless and attacks the ball in the box , not like Bambi.

To make honest argument,
I just see zero upside to his style of play.
safe, predictable, caution

adds nothing to this squad

others don’t have loads to offer but I honestly can’t see what he brings to the squad

we play cautious, and predictable by design

so frustrating this lately

all this promise and hope and we are discussing crabs and frauds

Honestly kind of feel the same way. I can't see a way in which this isn't an ugly game in which the best we can do is keep a clean sheet and sneak a goal or two. It just looks like a game that ends in frustration regardless of the result.
