Absolutely terrible news IMO.

Says to me that beckford and Saha are fine, and that Cahill will round off the strikers.

We won't get any strikers in I'm thinking.

Its hard to think of anyone who could fill his role on loan and be better, whoever it may be its going to be a punt and equally wages and a loan fee - i hope he has some ace up his sleeve here and im proved massively wrong.

I'm on a downer right now. I was still hoping he'd hit the form he's capable of. Lets hope something positive is planned on the back of this loan. I.e. freeing up money for pienaar, or someone else coming in and doing a job either up front...

Rodwell would have more but had that ankle injury. Anichebe's been limited by injuries as has Barkley who's been on the bench this season.

I suppose you can argue it either way. It seems that Moyes takes a long time to trust players though. It would have been nice for a couple of the kids to get a run out in the cup. Fair play that the win comes first, but I'd like to see him put faith in the kids a bit more often.

I think one will be brought in. But is he going to be better than the Yak?

It's a straight swap for the 'boy Linacre' according to my mate Mick Channon. Seriously though, as much as I like the Yak I don't think he will ever be the player he was and if Moyes can find a livelier option on loan I would accept it to be honest, and he is 52 afterall.

I would go, Keane, Bellamy or Carew, with Carew really the only one who could play the sole role in our system.

I was for Carew but, having seen how Saha and Beckford have blossomed together, I'm not sure we need him. Bellamy is settled in Cardiff and his wages are too much. I'm not sure how Keane would fit in, especially once Cahill returns.

I'm expecting a rabbit out of the hat from Moysie.
