Bily on the right

Bily is not bad, but he just doesn't impress me except for the occasional super strike. He just seems to be a little off the pace. I don't get the same feeling from watching him as I do the rest of the team. They are up to EPL standards, with Beckford growing by leaps and bounds, but Bily just seems slightly below them. Beckford especially is impressive, and he's gotten to play about as much as Bily has and he's seized the moment.

In the game thread, I mentioned Bily seemed slower and most disagreed and that's fine. I don't want to throw off on him. He looks like he's trying, he looks like he wants to be there, but he just seems a little below the standard (except, of course, that wicked ability to strike the ball that he has), but the rest of his game just seems substandard to the rest of the team, slow of thought, slow of foot and not up to the physicality.

However....I will remain open minded about him because after all, LCAB thinks he had a great game and is gonna be awesome...and I respect LCAB's opinions on all things and I know for a fact LCAB knows more about the game than I ever will.

So come on, Bily...wow me.

Are we separated at birth? :) I was the one that agreed with you in that thread. And apparently Artetafan too.

THT - I'm not ****ging the guy two minutes into his career, I'm just saying he hasn't impressed me yet - and I don't really get a feeling that he will unfortunately. Beckford on the other hand - don't know him from sliced bread, but there's something about him that I just can't put a finger on. He's got that unnamed potential for me.

That's all. People took my comments as majorly negative when I didn't mean for them to be so. Just an honest opinion.

And I DO know football thank you very much.

He needs a run of games to gain the confidence, but a bit part player at the moment aint gonna achieve this. Moyse needs some serious turning if he is going to cement Bily into the side...still a decent player tho.

Cali, I wasn't specifically referencing you by the 2 mins quote ! Was meant for people at the match who groan or get on the lads back 5mins into a game ! We are EVERTON not crying KOPITES from across the park ! Anyway, you are entitled to your opinion that's what this is here for ! My opinion is he's got a lot of class and I'd rather see him rather than osman in the team. I take your point though that he has to do more !

Also know what you mean about Becks, he'll be sound for us !
