Bily on the right

Okay, don't hate me people, but so far I'm not seeing all the Bily (fine, one L!) love, kinda like toffeestillidie said at the start.

That's purely because I haven't seen him in previous seasons so don't have the history with the kid that you guys do.

I only have a few spare minutes to judge him on based on previous games, so today I was like, okay, I'm going to see the kid that everyone's raving about!

I expect someone who is a perennial benchwarmer to come on and grab the start by the horns. Coleman has done this 732%. Rodwell typically does this. Hell, Beckford has managed to do this (though I'd say more at 150% compared to Coleman's 732%). I thought Bily today was okay. I definitely do NOT think he "stunk up the place" - he was solid. But the rest of the team was so good and so well paced that he just stood out a bit (along with Anichebe, but that's covered elsewhere).

Now I hear all of you - he's rusty for sure due to lack of game time, he may be micromanaged... But for a watcher who is coming in new, I wasn't overly impressed. Not enough hustle going forward (though defensively, he did a nice job there), not enough attacking prowess, had a tendency to come towards the middle instead of staying out wide (I get that's his natural position).

Don't hate me (I know you love him Damon & LCAB)! Just putting my two cents out there as someone who really hasn't seen him in the past. I'm not slamming the guy, just giving a new fan's perspective. So far, he's not cracking my starting XI.

Excellent use of percentages here Kay, you're learning.
