That's exactly my point mate...they are all on the wane. So you have to think one step ahead of the rest...What would pep do if we went to the Ethihad and bullied them left right and center and got a one nil...what would the rs do if we did them one nil from a massive long ball?? Nobody seems to get it...we do you think rs are doing so well? Because no one wants to bully them and get in their faces...What is your enduring moment of the 95 Cup Final when the camera panned on Joe Royle???

It’s archaic football mate, teams can’t afford to live in the past

To put it quite simply, if you compare our squad to many of the teams that are above us in the table currently, ours is better than most. In a nutshell Crystal Palace are currently as close to top as we are to bottom !.
The failing here is entirely Silva's , whether that be down to his inability to motivate , his negative formation , obsession with tactics that are not working , zonal marking , appalling use of substitutes, is the only question.
The clubs that are above us in the table are there because their coaches are performing far better than ours , and with inferior squads at their disposal.
Enough is enough.

I was honestly hoping he'd have been sacked by 9pm tonight.

The last lingering bit of faith I had in Moshiri/Brands is evaporating with every minute that goes by now.

If they are sacking him, it will happen tomorrow just like with Martinez, Koeman and Allardyce

Football being what it is if results don't pick up then inevitably he'll go but our recent past says everything about just how effective changing the manager has been.

A few of our recent sackings have done well since leaving so you have to think is it us?

Martinez Belgium
Koeman Holland

We've had six managers in a realtively short time, how long before manager number seven is villified just as our last six, a season if that?

A sacking club who have won nothing for 24 years, the pedigree managers with proven records will be queuing round the block to get their hands on the post

:D

I realize you are brainwashed by the media...you are not the only one unfortunately :coffee:

I’m not brainwashed by anything or anyone, I’ve watched the game long enough to know that bully boy tactics have no place in the game anymore, the pace of the game has steadily increased over the last 15 years for it to be in any way effective

It's very obvious that you just wait to see the popular opinion on here, go against it and then argue. Cba to actually look but I doubt you were a big fan of Silva last season when a lot on here rated him. But now we're in relegation form and you are suddenly defending him?

They are. It's not like when Koeman bought 3 number 10s and no striker. Silva has players to use but doesn't. He also doesn't get the best out of what he's got.

Tosun doesn't have pace but his link up play is better than any of the forwards we have. He's also the best finisher. So...why don't we play to those strengths? No, because we have to play Sigurdson who doesn't do enough. Or Richarlison who's out of form.

We have DCL. Get crosses in. We don't.

We have Kean. Play him part of a front 3. We don't.

There's no way we're creating things and don't have a striker because we don't create.

If we were trying different things and it wasn't working, id be more inclined to say we don't have the talent. But we haven't seen any changes or an attempt to make it work, it's just the same every week.
It’s simple really it comes down to the fact that there are two kinds of fans on here

1. A fan that accepts that we keep trying to solve a problem the with the same approach week and week out

2. A fan that wants to solve a problem with thought, perspective and insight.
