Our wingers come in as it is with the fullbacks over lapping... dropping the number 10 further back might help but it will still lead to balls going wide if the personel aren't inclined to run beyond. the formation is not the issue here, especially when it is that minor a change

the majority of our play goes down the wing, we pass pass pass, out to the wing and cross aimlessly with 1 or 2 players in the box. In the very rare occasion we may have one of the wingers in there.
