Right is it coleman again or someone else or silva that comes out and say they let fans down again etc, before the sheff Wed game, utterly boring all this, groundhog day nearly every week, with little old Charlie on sky using his usual rubbish of we are 2 games away from the boss getting sacked, which he uses all the time, while every other pundit says us the Fans are not happy with Everton because of whats going on with Liverpool, what goes on there has nothing to do with how we play or if we win etc, does not on me anyway-no boss changes how our away form goes and i did say the problem begins when we start to lose at home as thats like the security but i didnt expect it to begin today

Any sensible suggestions for his replacement please.

Mourinho isn’t coming here, he’s not coming to listen to lies about wanting to challenge for the top 4

He’d come to have the chance to be an Everton legend, worshipped by the fans, to get one over United and Chelsea, to knock Liverpool off their perch, to be in the prem every week. He’d come for that but we wouldn’t sell it like that and we probably wouldn’t even approach him.

‘Hi Bournemouth how much for Eddie? 40 mill, we’ll pay it’

He's beginning to stink, but unless we get Jose, it will be replacing like for like.

This is Everton, can't see them unearthing some unknown managerial improvement on this current schmuck

When we hired him Conte and Wenger were available, so was Sarri. Wenger is still available now, so is Mourinho.

Are we seriously saying that if one of these out of work managers who lives for football was approached by us and given complete control, a massive salary, no immediate expectations, and a chance to make history and be revered by challenging at the top end of the best league in the world they wouldn’t jump at it?

Instead we’ll be drawing up a shortlist that probably includes Eddie Howe, Chris Wilder and the Potter bloke from Swansea. You laugh but that is the limit of our ambition. We look at the lower end of the prem and see who is doing ok and we go for them because the top brass at the club cannot get out of the mindset of ‘get someone with prem experience to grow the club and not take us down’ rather than ‘get the best manager out there’.

Conte wanted to return to italy

Wenger is finished and has taken a role at FIFA

Mourinho is a chequebook manager and wouldnt fit in with Brands

Sarri???

No point in doing it now. End of the season and assuming he's still doing well get Gasperini from Atalanta.

Or really anyone who will come in and actually commit to a system and style that isn't 4-2-3-1.

Gasperini has been pretty poor this season if results are to believe...4-0 against zagreb and 8th in the league with that side

Can you really see Mourinho taking time to build a team under brands?

Id be all for it if he agreed but hes the epitome of a chequebook manager.

Doesn’t have to be unknown though. Allegri, Mourinho, Wenger, Benitez, Mancini, AVB, would all jump at the chance to manage in the premier league. Newcastle had the balls fo approach a top manager, West Ham did it, yet whenever we need a manager the narrative of ‘he’d never come to Everton’ starts up. Leeds got Bielsa in the championship, we wouldn’t have even asked!

...Steve Bruce?

Can see him going if no wins against Sheffield Wednesday, Burnley and Man City. Another set piece and we conceded, that was their first corner also. Absolute crap

That side that he built. You can't say the side is really good without acknowledging that he was a major part in it getting to that point.

Also the Zagreb result was poor but that happens. Looking at the table 3 weeks in is pointless but 6 points from 9 isn't bad.

The bigger thing is he plays a system and I believe that he would stick to it if he came here. I can't have another manager who comes in and falls into the 4-2-3-1 trap.
