I'm concerned about how much we turn down playing a ball into a tight area near the box to instead play the easy pass wide and bang in a cross. Today it bagged us two goals but that still required a top class header and winning a knock down. At a minimum we need to mix it up some.

I agree with this, it annoyed me last night. And still again the tendency to float balls in a lot of the time when doing it. We need to play with more purpose and pace than that both in terms of passing and movement.

I said that in the match thread about crosses,be it dead ball or wing play we tend to float them in,no pace at all,then if some one manages to get on the end they have to try and generate all the power

Anytime I see him on camera he's pacing and looking down at least a bit, really looks like he suffers! I feel sorry for him, but he really cares and there's that, can't say I was convinced that was true of Koeman nor Allardyce.

Also like that he has at least 2 formations to get the team into.

There are some serious salty Evertonians about these days . Easy to see why though. Our first season back in the premier league we finish best of the rest in 7th spot . To rub salt into the wound we take 4 points off you guys , I guess upsetting the natural order you seem to be accustomed too . Looking forward to our game tonight , and would gladly take a loss Sunday if it meant getting into the europa league group stages .

Like all Sets of fans you have some deluded idiots that at the start of the season , decide to open there mouth and preach utter tripe about finishing in the top 4 , but let’s be real here , best Everton can hope for like the rest of us is where wolves finished last season barring a major **** up by one of the other top 6 clubs .
Good luck for Sunday , looking forward to my returning visit to Goodison and hopefully leaving with all 3 points and massive smug smile on my face . UTW

Not sure about that like. Recon we’ve got a good chance of finishing in the top 6 above either Chelsea or United who will both struggle IMO

You lot did great last season but I expect being in the Europa league and playing Thursday Sunday every week to have an effect on you as it did with us and Burnley in the previous 2 seasons.

So for that reason I would also gladly take you winning tonight and losing on Sunday

absolutely. Biggest reason for Villa loss IMO was Schneid and Gomes playing patty-cake with each other 40 yards out instead of going frward.
