But surely to god now is the time to give him one last chance?

Its always been known about his attitude and willigness and his glass body.

Yet now we should sell him when we have a striker problem?

Seems odd

It seems a bit cheap. If as many Championship clubs were as keen to sign him as reported, then I would have expected atleast another 50%, if not double that fee.

If its true it makes no sense. Given the market for strikers with his age if he comes over here and say gets 4-5 goals this season he's instantly worth 3-4X as much.

our loss is cardiffs gain, good luck vaughany lad you gave us everything you had and more. i`m sick. hope the deal blows up. - we couldve done with him last night to embarass some of them on big wages sitting on the bench

don't know the whole story and never saw him play on his loan, but it seems a bit strange to offload one striker when we have 4 out of form strikers in our squad right, any of whom i'm sure cardiff would love.

However much we do end up selling him for, we should make sure that we get a slice of the cake if he's later resold to another club.

Bothroyd is out of contract in the summer. It might be an idea to give them Vaughan in exchange for his early release. What else can we do with £1 mill?! I'm not thrilled by the idea, as he'll be 29 come next season, but he does have 13 goals in 17 games so far this season for Cardiff. Maybe he could be a short term fix?

I've always liked Peter Whittingham. Perhaps he could do a job replacing Pienaar?
