There's plenty of negative talking points from that game -- none of them anything new, just classic Moyes -- but I really want to focus on what has been one of his major "WTF" inducing habits this season. Late subs.

Tonight, he brought the Yak on after 60 minutes. Really, after seeing how ineffective Cahill was as the lone striker in the first half, that change should have been made at half time, not the arbitrary 60 minute mark.

Even more confusingly though, were the two late subs; Beckford on 90 minutes and Bilyaletdinov on 93 minutes. A combined 7 minutes of football between two players eager to get game time, and each with the potential to change a match. That's not enough, obviously, and it's kind of pathetic that Moyes waited so long to bring them on.

Most of all though, it's dumbfounding. The only time managers usually make subs that late is to waste time. Was he really trying to waste time when drawing at the utterly woeful, albeit resurgent, West Ham? That in itself is quite embarrassing, if true, and if not then the "WTF" factor remains.

I'm tired of this season and I'm tired of Moyes' broken record gameplan. This was a great oppurtunity to get a much needed 3 points, to take us right up the table, and yet again we blew it. And at no point during the game was I surprised at what I was seeing, nor was I surprised with the result. And that is the most disappointing thing of all.

Tactics were a joke 30 mins before the kick off..As soon as I saw the line up , I knew we were heading for a draw..Beckford coming on at the time he did was just a big joke...I am starting to lose faith again in the Moyes...

You see Cahill leading the line is ok when you're tactic is to remain solid against a good team. He did a great job against Liverpool a couple of seasons back. When you're the pressing team it's pretty daft. You need someone who's great at playing off defender's shoulders and roaming the line.

Late subs are for winding the clock down and injuries. If you've left it that late for a tactical substitution it means you've not read the game.

i eagerly tuned into this game as i was sure it was 3pts then i seen the 1st 11 and honestly it put me in a mood to practice my darts on the ginger one head on my dartboard .......

that line up stank of outright containment and his subs predictable and embarrassin for the lads if it was up to me i would actively seek out a new manger for the summer

Maaaaaaaaate he put two players on who made names for themselves scoring in the 93rd minute!

Their fault they didnt take their opportunities hehe

the thing is lad we are not the same team as a couple of seasons ago thats a fact

I can't believe people we're expecting 3 points.
I said in previously that after playing city of the park it we'd bore ourselves against the next opponents.

well with subs like that moyes is only asking for questioning from fans and trouble from players.

i generally feel sorry for bily and he has to get a lot of credit for not spitting his dummy out and refusing to play.

bily isnt unhappy , isnt injured , isnt tired and from what i have heard is a good lad in training and off the pitch , so why does moyes treat him like a retard by bringing him on for a minute here and there ? its like a sympathy sub.

explain yourself moyes !!!

I was expecting everything that happened today mate -- and that's exactly why I'm so pissed.

Cos he's [Poor language removed]?

Cos he's [Poor language removed]?

He really isn't, mate. He's a certain type of player, and Moyes with all his intense scouting procedures would have known exactly what kind of player he was before signing him.

So really Moyes is either at fault for not giving Bily his chance if he's worthy of it or he's at fault for buying him (£9 mil remember) in the first place. Both avenues confuse the heck out of me.

Cos he's [Poor language removed]?

10 points and a good handful of storming golas last season was a good return imo. to go from that to not even getting a game is a huge fall.

even then , if he is '[Poor language removed]' then why did moyes spend 9 million on him.
whatever way and whatever reason moyes is wrong.

i just think there is a hell of a lot going on behind the scenes we are not privvy too (not just in bilys case). i generally smell a rat.
